What is IATI and Why Does It Matter?

New Requirements for Sida-Funded Organizations
In line with strengthening transparency, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) has introduced more stringent transparency requirements for organizations receiving Sida funding. This includes regular publication of IATI-compliant data.

For organizations funded by Sida, publishing accurate and timely IATI data is mandatory to demonstrate responsible use of funds. NGO Online fully supports compliance with these new requirements by ensuring data is exported in the correct IATI XML format.
What Does This Mean for Your Organization?
- Ensure Compliance: Organizations funded by Sida must publish IATI-compliant data to maintain eligibility for funding.
- Transparency and Accountability: By adhering to IATI standards, your organization strengthens relationships with Sida and other government partners.
